Now that the frame looks all pretty it's ready for the drivetrain. The Oldsmobile 350 Rocket and Turbo 350 transmission are looking good!
The motor and trans set in place, its starting to look like a car again.
The carburetor and distributor were rebuilt and installed long with plug wires, positive battery cable and exhaust manifolds.
A little before and after on the air cleaner. It still amazes me how a little sandblasting and a fresh coat of paint can turn junk into something that looks like new.
The remainder of the exhaust and a new muffler was reinstalled.
Wow! Looks great!
Forming the 3/8 fuel line from the very rear of the chassis to the very front was quite a challenge. Each bend needs to be pretty exact and at the correct angle. New clips and flexible fuel line at the pump, all it needs now is a new fuel tank.
Time to put the chassis aside and get back to the body. It's getting close to becoming an entire car again!
