The old 350 Rocket and turbo 350 transmission out and on the hook.
This motor and trans are beyond help. They will be replaced by a very low mileage drivetrain from a donor 69 Cutlass.
It's time to move on to removing the interior. The seats are in amazing condition as is the center console and dash.
Drivers door stripped and glass removed. Then the door is removed and the drivers seat and stinky carpet are taken out.
The entire interior is removed, the floor pan is overall in really good condition. There are some areas I'll need to repair but not too bad.
I found some really cool old documents in the glove box.
Here are a couple of them. The glove box wallet, the new car warranty and the owners manual. There were also an old title and a few insurance cards.
